Licensure Renewal

Do the following questions sounds familiar: How many CEU's do I need to renew my license? How often do I need to renew my license? Can I use any of my CPR renewal certifications for my CEU's? How do I renew my license? Can't someone provide all the answers to all of my questions on licensure renewal and make it so much easier for me? The answer to that last question is "YES!! THE OSRC IS HERE TO HELP!"

First and foremost, you renew your Oklahoma Medical License to practice Respiratory Care every TWO YEARS.

Renewing your license is as easy as going online to the Oklahoma Medical Board License Renewal Page found here.

1. Log in to the site

2. Answer mandatory questions

3. Make your payment.

*Remember:

You must agree, and be able to verify with audit, that you have             completed all necessary CEU’s/CRCE’s required for licensure renewal.

The Oklahoma Medical Board has set forth guidelines in Section 2037 – Continuing Education.

You can read the section here in full.

We, the OSRC, will attempt to explain CEU’s and what is required for licensure renewal in a manner that is easy to understand.

At least half of the required Continuing Respiratory Care Education hours must be directly related to clinical practice.
